OUR COACHES

Our club was established in 2004 and is the longest continuously running Judo Club in Chelmsford. We are affiliated to the British Judo Association (BJA) who is the National Governing Body for judo in the UK. All our instructors are accredited by the BJA and have passed DBS checks and have attended first aid and safeguarding courses.

Why Judo?

I love all grappling sports but there's something special about judo. It's a martial art, combat sport and philosophy for life. It teaches humility and respect and you never stop learning throughout your judo journey. I've battled hard at club and competition with many judokas, and the friendships and sense of community this produces is something to behold.
